Rod Taylor

Rod Taylor is the Deputy Leader of the Christian Heritage Party of Canada. He also serves the party as the Western Regional Development Director, with responsibility for BC, Alberta and the Yukon. He is the current candidate for CHP Canada in the federal riding of Skeena-Bulkley Valley in Northern BC where he resides with his wife, Elaine. They have been married for 36 years. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren, all living in Northwest BC.

Rod has spent the bulk of his career in British Columbia, working in the lumber industry for 22 years, primarily supervising lumber grading and quality control departments. His experience includes 6 years with Canadian National Railways, horse logging, tree-planting and log-building. He has been a Board Member of the Bulkley Valley District Hospital Society, Past President of the Bulkley Forest Products Association, a founding member of the Bulkley Valley Community Resource Board, Past President of the Bulkley Valley Christian Literature Society and has been for many years a Board Member of the Smithers Pro-Life Society.
