Wave of hate from Alberta’s “Chief Kangaroo” against Christian pastor

What could Mark Steyn’s punishment look like, if he’s convicted by the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal?

It could look like this order, issued just last week by Alberta’s human rights commission, against a Christian pastor named Rev. Stephen Boission. (The substantive ruling against Rev. Boissoin can be found here. See paragraph 357 where the right not to be offended “trumps the freedom of speech afforded in the Charter.” And see a thoughtful response by the former executive director of the gay rights lobby, EGALE, here.)

The kangaroo court judge in this case is a Tory patronage appointee, a divorce lawyer from Lethbridge named Lori Andreachuk, (pictured at left). That’s her expertise: divorce law. Not constitutional law; not freedom of speech or freedom of religion. And it shows.

Last November, she convicted Boissoin. Last week she ordered her “remedy”.

It is the most revolting order I have ever seen in Canada. Ever.

  1. The situation you have outlined is simply insane. It’s the stuff for which the term ‘Orwellian’ was conceived. I sincerely hope that Rev. Boisson will continue to show the courage of his convictions and refuse to bare his neck to the guillotine of these inquisitors.
    I’m wondering however, what is the penalty if you tell the HRC to pound salt; that you will not, under any circumstances, give in to their totalitarian excesses?
    Jail? Would that not place the good Reverend in the position of being a political prisoner? And, interestingly enough, will it not place him in the position of being able to flee Canada and seek asylum elsewhere on those grounds?
    Could it indeed be the time for someone to test this question, to push the envelope to its fullest and determine just how far these baby fascists will actually go?
    Of course, I could well be asking these questions about you in a short while. Or, for that matter, myself, although to this point, my own articles seems to have flown under the radar.
    (point – a recent news article noted that Australia has just completed a cull of its large population of kangaroos. Methinks a similar action is required in Canada, although the weapon used should be political action and/or popular opinion and not guns. This last remark comes under the infamous ‘of course’ clause popularized by Mr. Steyn, lest there be any confusion regarding my intent!)

  2. Dear Friends;
    Reading this article makes us think that we have to find a place outside of Canada from where we can send our messages of truth
    and then the writer under an assumed name submitting this to wher it should go
