Christian Horizons Christian persecution case in court Dec. 15th-17th

NoApologies learnt today via the below email notice that the Ontario Divisional Court is going to hear the Christian persecution case of Christian Horizons, which is appealing an outrageous Ontario Human Rights Tribunal decision, which essentially forbade the social services organization from operating as a Christian ministry if it wanted to continue to serve the general disabled public. This is similar to the homosexualist terrorism taking place in Washington, D.C. right now where sex activists are trying to pass homosexual “marriage” legislation without a religious freedom clause. As a result, Catholic Charities might be ordered to provide benefits to homosexual employees, something they would not do even if they had to close their hug operations that provide help to the city’s poor. The sex addict lobby is accusing the Catholic organization of sacrificing the poor to their bigotry, when the facts reveal that it is the intolerant SSM lobby that is sacrificing the poor. The Christian Horizons case is one in which intolerant homosexualist interests, including those in the OHRC/T, are so hostile to public Christianity that they are willing to threaten the care of severely disabled Ontarians on the altar of invented anal sex rights.

Hello everyone,

We are forwarding to you a letter received today from Linda Milke, Director of Ministry Advancement for the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada. She attaches a letter and brief summary of the issues involved in more detail than we can include here.

Suffice to say that the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal has ruled that Christian Horizons – a Christian organization which holds traditional Christian values and requires that its employees uphold them also – has been fined and ordered to desist from hiring Christians only; cannot hold its employees to Christian values; and any attempt to do so is considered to “poison the work environment.”

The Evangelical Fellowship has intervenor status in the appeal of this Tribunal decision, which will be heard in Ontario Divisional Court on December 15-17th, 2009. This case potentially threatens the Christian character and mission of most Christian organizations providing services in Ontario communities, including our own Mission Services of Hamilton. This may be our last chance to take a stand for our beliefs and tradition of Christian service in the communities we serve.

Please pray, send to all your Christian contacts, and consider donating to the efforts of the Evangelical Fellowship (EFC) in addressing this issue. No amount is too small.

Thanks very much and God bless,

Bob and Sandy
