Why do adults promote sexual activity among youths?

Are these parents, teachers and bureaucrats sexual predators grooming potential victims? Were they moral pigs at that age who therefore lack the confidence that other young people are prepared to exercise more self-restraint? Are they ideological fanatics who worship sex as a god and want everyone else to become slaves to their sex drives? Are they lazy and irresponsible, refusing to exercise the adult responsibility of holding young people to account for making wise and responsible decisions? Certainly there are no morally or intellectually respectable reasons to promote or tolerate sexual activity among unmarried people, let alone children and teens. And the data on sexually transmitted disease demonstrates that this sexual activity is physically destructive. Perverted notions of self-esteem and psychological good in pre-marital sex may be a rationale for promoting sexual activity among children and teens, but it’s an agenda of physical abuse and adults who advocate it should perhaps be criminally charged accordingly. A new study yet again confirms older evidence of the physical damage to young people caused by sexual promiscuity.

“Sexually spread diseases continue to rise, with reported chlamydia cases setting yet another record in 2008, government health officials in the United States said Monday,” reported the Canada News Wire. “Last year there were 1.2 million new cases of chlamydia, a sometimes symptomless infection that can lead to infertility in women. It was the most ever reported, up from the old record of 1.1 million cases in 2007.”

“Syphilis, on the verge of being eliminated in the United States about 10 years ago, also has been increasing lately. About 13,500 cases of the most contagious form of the disease were reported in 2008, up from about 11,500 the year before,” adds the CP story. “Unlike chlamydia, health officials think syphilis cases actually are increasing. Syphilis rates are up among both gay men and heterosexuals, said Douglas, director of the CDC’s Division of STD Prevention.” (A CDC spokesman said they believe higher rates of chlamydia are due to better screening.) Gonorrhea cases have apparently dropped.

“Girls, ages 15 through 19, had the largest reported number of chlamydia and gonorrhea cases, accounting for more than one in four of those cases. But they’re often screened more than other people, since 1993 federal recommendations that emphasize testing for sexually active women age 25 and under. The government estimates there are roughly 19 million new cases of sexually transmitted disease annually. Experts say the most common is HPV, human papillomavirus, which can cause genital warts, cervical cancer and other cancers,” reported CP. Oh, and, by the way, “Syphilis can kill if untreated.”

Focus on the Family, reporting on the new report in their online CitizenLink.com news service, cited Dr. Miriam Grossman, a child and adolescent psychiatrist and author: “If you look closely at what young people are being taught about sexuality, you will discover that it is being assumed that they will have sex at an early age and that they will have multiple partners.”

  1. MONEY!!! If people started getting health who will make the money from illness. If people became more moral who would make the money from abortion, porn, sex illness, clothing etc. If they became more law-abiding who will make money from prisons, cops, judges, sheriffs, lawyers. If we truly ate right how many fast food chains, resturants, hybrid food producers will go out of business. If we learned to love will talk tv/radio be out of business. If we all truly lived with our means, the earths means and the means of God, would we truly be in the situation we are in. Simple, primitive, tribal man lived the best until technology replaced the need for people. I hate to say it but we say we believe in God but read the satanic bible, thats what modern man practices. Dont say NO! unless you read it for yourself. God Bless…
