Don’t Diss Darwin!

Does Darwin’s On the Origin of Species need a special introduction? Creationist Ray Comfort thinks so. On Thursday, November 19, mere days before the 150th anniversary of the publication of Charles Darwin’s Origin, Comfort plans to distribute free copies of Origin at colleges and universities across the U.S. and (on the 24th) in Canada.

These free copies include a “special introduction” by Comfort which claims, among other things, that evolution is scientifically false and that Darwin was a misogynist racist whose ideas inspired Hitler.

Talk about spoiling an anniversary!

DARWINISTS TERRIFIED BY RAY COMFORT’S NEW MINISTRY

I can’t imagine any biologists being afraid of somebody as hopelessly scientifically illiterate as Ray Comfort.

Bobxxxx, that is a very good example of ad hominem. If you are so scientifically literate that you are able to recognize the, “scientifically illiterate,” maybe you could share some of your wisdom with us, rather than just attacking the messenger. I couldn’t help but notice, that for someone whose science is, “wacky” according to the Science Center for Education, they sure spend an inordinate amount of time and energy trying to disprove Ray Comfort’s theories.
Science backs and supports the creation theory, far more than it does evolution. Even if that were not true, then why attempt to marginalize creationists as opposed to honest debate of their scientific understanding? The answer to that question is quite clear to anyone who is open minded and honest enough to examine the actual facts such as, where are the fossils supporting evolutionists views?
Is it easier to believe that everything came out of nothing that just always existed and somehow in a cataclysmic explosion, design and natural laws just happened, or in intelligent design? Has anyone yet heard about a single explosion that created anything but chaos and disorganization, so under what scientific model is the “Big bang” theory? Controlled explosions simply control the amount of chaos and disorganization to what is considered acceptable limits, but does not create anything like natural laws or life. It is analogous to dropping a bomb in a auto junk yard and expecting a finely tuned car to come out of the explosion or blowing up a printing press and expecting a best selling book to be, not written but, created from the explosion.

Hey Ian, Maybe Bob xxxx is just hopelessly out of substance.
