Bishops attending an African synod at the Vatican last week lamented Western humanistic colonialism. At one point, as reported by LifeSiteNews, Ghanaian Archbishop Charles Palmer-Buckle spoke out strongly against the fanatical obssession with sex that preoccupied Western forces that are ostensibly providing aid to under-developed nations.
“I know workers for NGOs who hang around with boys in order to introduce them to homosexual relationships. In those cases, I don’t want to believe it’s the NGO’s agenda, but the workers are letting their own tendencies go in as a normal thing to be accepted,” he said, also reporting that, “”I know of NGOs that are not only supplying condoms, they’re also supplying lubricants for boys who want to engage in homosexual relations.”
This preoccupation with sex while people are starving and dying from preventable diseases is not a characteristic of charitable individuals or a civilized society. Workers who can’t exercise self-control and exhibit even a minimum amount of self-respect for the people they should be serving should be sent home and declared “persona non grata,” said the archbishop.
