Supporters of Traditional Marriage Continue to be Targeted and Intimidated in California

Critics of traditional marriage are now using Google Maps to identify supporters of Proposition 8, last November’s ballot initiative banning same-sex marriage in California, raising the stakes in the battle for marriage across the state. In the latest round of attacks against supporters of Proposition 8, homosexual activists are singling out ‘yes’ voters by using Google Maps interactive mapping application and listing street and address details and the amount of money donors contributed to the campaign banning same-sex marriage. Supporters’ details are listed at the website Prop 8 Maps. The intimidation tactics have led to an outcry, with documented cases of harassment mounting – including supporters of traditional marriage in California receiving threatening phone calls, abusive letters and emails and even death threats. Churches have been vandalized and businesses boycotted. Ron Prentice, chair of ProtectMarriage.com, says the message of the map campaign is unmistakable: “Support traditional marriage and we will find you.” The case reveals the hypocrisy of California’s militant homosexual lobby – in the fight for tolerance, opponents of tradition marriage show just how intolerant they have become.

  1. Marriage needs to have proper foundation like a house, or it will crumble.
